WHEN IT COMES TO LIFE INSURANCE, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH

WHEN IT COMES TO LIFE INSURANCE, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

This is a concept that is very dear to my heart!!! To many times I have seen a lot of Financial Professional comparing different types of insurance products. They even go as far of stating that one product is complicated and one is easy; especially on social media platforms. The fact of the matter is, no insurance product is easy; but with a knowledgeable financial professional, all insurance products can be understood.

The next time a licensed financial professional tells you easy is better, I want you to asked them the following questions: 1. Why does the State License Exam test you on all type of life insurance products?, 2. As, a License Professional, why does my license authorized me to market these different products to my clients?, and 3. Why doesn’t your company offer these other insurance products?

There are three keys factors that will determines the type and the cost of the life insurance products you will qualify for and they are 1. Your Age, 2. Your Medical Conditions and 3. Whether you are a Smoker or Non-Smoker.

The reason why you need to know this as a consumer/clients is because, depending on when you purchase life insurance could make a different whether you will qualify or not qualify for certain types of life insurance.

As a Broker, I am non-captive, which means; I have access to over 50 Insurance and Wealth Management Companies on my company’s platform. Having these allows me to provide all my clients options to purchase life insurance. Some Life Insurance Agents are captive, which means they are limit to what life insurance products they can offer to their clients.

So, instead of determining what life insurance product are complicated or easy; the question such be what life insurance product is best and appropriate for the consumer/clients.

In closing, a knowledgeable financial professional will never talk about another company or another company’s products and services, they just do what is right and appropriate for the consumer/client.
